FlammyHoffa “The Don”

FlammyHoffa “The Don”  NEW ALBUM HIT UP ITUNES

FlammyHoffa “The Don”

Kintae Davis, aka FlammyHoffa the Don, was born in Akron, OH. August 28th 1980. He started rapping at the age of 10 and in the 5th grade he performed in his first talent show. He had such a passion for rap that he would perform on the street corners for all the Ole G’s out there hustling, in the school cafeteria and hallways. FlammyHoffa’s influences came from the Valley, the hood in which he grew up in. The Hood Legends like Junior Alexander, Wayne G, Truck, Jim Jim, Phill Good, Boo Suave, Solo, Shawn Johnson, cousin Q Dogg, and brother King Gene taught him how to rap. He grew up listening to NWA, UGK, Tupac, CBo, Jay Z, and Nas just to name a few. Sometime in 1995 Q Dogg, King Gene, Miss Official, Sir Reece, and FlammyHoffa formed the group FOC (Family Orientated Clique) and started recording in the studio. In 1998, they released their first mix tape entitled “In the Heart of It All”. By 2000 they released their first album “Hardtimes Vol.1”. FlammyHoffa along with FOC has done shows with Do or Die, Master P, Bone, Lil John, BG, DJ Kool, and Devin the Dude just to name a few. FlammyHoffa along with FOC has had a commercial featured on BET for one of their videos. Together they put out another mix tape entitled “Wings and a Shield”. They also worked on another album entitled “Hardtimes Vol. 2”, which featured artists Zapp Tropman of Zapp and Roger, Ampichino, Felony 1, Fatz, Young Rediculus and other artist, but that album was never released.
In 2005, FlammyHoffa decided to go solo, and completed his first solo project in 2006 with a double CD entitled “Boss of all Bosses”. In 2009 he began working on his 2nd album entitled “Underated” which is a special tribute to his brother Eugene Davis (King Gene) who was sentenced to 12 years in prison in February of 2009. This album is his most anticipated album do to the fact of all the struggles, trials, and tribulations he has had to overcome. This young man grew up in the dope game and started hustling at the age of 12, but realized that there was much more to life than being a thug on the streets, heading in the wrong direction. At the age of 16, with a strong desire to overcome the streets he became an entrepreneur and started his own record label called FO Records. He put out the first underground magazine called “TADOW”, and the first afro centric website Aktown.com. He is still running his label F.O. Records and also helps run Paperboy Records with Young Rell and D Rich. FlammyHoffa considers his rap style flamboyant, gangsta, cocky, and full of swag. His goal in the rap game is to open doors for his city; make his big brother proud, and all those who believe in his vision. His inspirations include his daughter Kennedy and the soon to be mother of his unborn seed, mother, father, all of his brothers and sisters, and other family and friends.
